Dear Friends,

On Friday the Yorba Linda, Orange Lutheran and entire Orange County community lost an incredible Husband, father, coach, friend and leader to a sudden and tragic death.  Tony Matson, 44 of Yorba Linda collapsed at his job in Corona and died after being transported to Corona Regional Hospital.  Tony leaves behind a wife and three young girls.

Tony was the loving, and doting dad of three great girls 10, 13 and 16 years old who excel in school, athletics and life.  In addition, he was the current Girls High School Basketball Coach of the Year after taking his Orange Lutheran team to the CIF finals last year.

I know all of us are trying to make ends meet, however one of our own needs our help.  Helping Hearts for Friends, Lamppost Pizza and our community will be teaming up together to raise money for the Matson family.

It is our goal to assist the family with the cost of the services and their daily living expenses while they cope with this unimaginable loss.     Give as much as you can, want or are able; a little bit goes a long way.  Ask friends, family, co-workers.  You would be amazed at how generous people can be when they know someone who is in need.  Because we need to act fast, I am initiating an email campaign in an attempt to raise as much money as possible, as fast as we can so that the family can focus on healing and not on money.

In addition to this email campaign, Lamppost Pizza and Helping Hearts 4 Friends will be holding an All-U-Can Eat fundraiser at Lamppost Pizza on Monday, April 27 at 5:00pm. (See Attached Flyer).

If you can find it in your heart, and if you are in a position to offer assistance, please go to www.helpinghearts4friends.org to donate or make out a check to "Helping Hearts For Friends" and write "Tony" in the memo portion of the check. The checks can be sent to the following address:
