The Helping Hearts For Friends Foundation was founded in December 2005 by concerned friends of a wife, mother and teacher who was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. Our friend, after multiple chemo and radiation treatments was forced to look for a more aggressive form of treatment. She found and was accepted into an experimental treatment program out of state. This treatment program required her to take a leave of absence from her job and leave her family of 5 behind for several months. Knowing that this was going to be an extremely costly and difficult time for our friend and her family, we decided to do whatever we could do to help reduce the financial strain brought on by this horrible disease.

Two year's later, Donna's fight continues. The Logan's tragic battle has not only changed their life, but it has also motivated my wife and I to establish the Helping Hearts for Friends Foundation. Over the years, we have realized how simple it is to make a difference, and we are excited about the future and the opportunity to help many more families.

So far, in 2007, we have raised over $120,000 for local families confronted with serious illness or injury. We would like to say thank you to all the people who have donated and who have helped make this organization a bigger success than ever imagined.

Mission Statement

We are committed to provide financial support for families stricken by serious illness or injury, by raising money within the community so that we all can make a difference. Together we will work to help those individuals and their loved ones who are entrenched in the battle of all battles.
